Positive, Loved the spacious family apartment with a dining table and a rooftop view of the city. The location was perfect, just a 10-minute walk to Nijo Castle and near several train stations. The room was clean, and having a washer/dryer was super convenient! 😊

The kids loved the bunk beds, and having a washer was a great bonus for our family. The staff provided excellent recommendations for local sites, making our Kyoto experience even better.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Mimaru Kyoto Nijo Castle. The location was convenient for bus access, with a lovely blend of traditional and modern design. The staff were exceptionally helpful and provided a wonderful warm welcome. The rooftop terrace offered beautiful city views.

close to lots of small & local eats, which made for delightful dining experiences. The spacious family apartment was perfect for our group, although the space felt smaller compared to the Tokyo location. Overall, a solid choice for families in Kyoto.

Loved the tatami mat feature

this hotel could have been great, but alas, the sofas were painfully hard and provided no comfort while watching television. also, the kettle was tiny for larger families. how unfortunate it is that I didn't get a complimentary upgrade or even a welcome gift, could’ve helped me overlook the bare bones facilities.

The staff were incredibly helpful,, going out of their way to assist with restaurant bookings and providing excellent local tips. The inclusion of a washer/dryer in our room made our stay more comfortable, especially with kids. The spacious layout of the family apartment and the cozy Japanese decor were delightful, creating a homely atmosphere for us as a family. The location offered a nice blend of local vibes with easy access to public transport for exploring the city.

The lack of on-site parking was a bit inconvenient for us during our stay.
